Molly and Mason Reunited

This weekend we had such a fun time, Molly and Aunt Tricia came to visit! Uncle Jason is in New Mexico hunting and James had to work so Tricia and I decided we were long overdue for a girls weekend. Girls weekend including Mason, because under two doesn't count, right? So it was just us gals and Mason...and the weather was PERFECT for a trip to the Norfolk Zoo. Saturday morning Molly and Mason both decided they were so excited to be in the same house again they wanted to wake up at 5am...made for a very long day for Aunt Tricia and Aunt Jules, but we were ready to see some animals! On the way I asked Molly what animal she was most excited about seeing and she said "Snakes!!" then proceeded to make hissing noises for a good minute. She is a funny kid!

Here are some pictures from our trip!

Then when Uncles James got home from work Saturday evening, Molly finally got to sit down so they could watch their favorite movie together. We all know James has a special fondness in his heart for ABBA, so of course he loves the movie Mamma Mia! He introduced Molly to it when she was probably a year old and it has been her favorite ever since. They got some good cuddle time on the couch after they both had a dance party in the living room to Dancing Queen. When Molly wasn't playing with Mason or stealing pickles from the kids at the zoo (that almost happened, for real) she was obsessed with playing with Lilly Bear in the back yard. She would come "Come here silly Lilly!" Lilly is enjoying a nice long nap as I type this :)

It was such a great weekend and we already miss having Aunt Tricia and Molly here. This coming weekend James and I will be having our first weekend alone! Granny gets Mason for a whole weekend and I'm pretty sure my Mom is about to explode because she's so excited she gets him all to herself. Well that's not completely true, word has spread that Mason is making an appearance in North Carolina next weekend so I'm sure she will have plenty of visitors. Stay tuned for fun pictures from Mason's first adventure to Granny's without Mom and Dad. I asked James what we were going to do with a whole weekend to ourselves with no baby and his reply was "Sleep." :)

And of course I can't let today pass without saying how proud I am to be a military wife. I am so thankful for every Soldier, Sailor, Airman, and Marine that has served this country and is serving today. My father in law, brother in law, and husband are three amazing military men and I'm so proud of all of them and thank them for their service. Happy Veteran's Day! Have you thanked a Vet today?

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and know we are missing everyone that reads this :)
James, Julie, and Mason
